Message from Principal Oakes

I hope everyone had a great start to the Holiday Season with friends and family over the Thanksgiving Weekend. As we return for the final three weeks of the 2nd quarter and the First Semester our attention turns to finishing the semester on a high note.

We will also have a lot of events going on these next three weeks- the Senior Citizen's Lunch, Choir Concerts, Band Concerts, the Talent Show, and more.

Encourage your student(s) to keep being RELENTLESS as they finish the semester.

School News and Updates

Fall State Testing:

State testing for those students needing to do Re-takes will begin December 2, 2025. Students needing to test will be notified before hand.

Sophomores to CTC: Sophomore will have the opportunity to visit the Springfield/Clark CTC on December 4, 2025. They will be exposed to various programs offered at CTC and will be able to apply to CTC as soon as that day! Don't let your Sophomore miss this opportunity. They need to contact their Guidance Counselor for more information.

12 Days of Holiday Cheer

We will begin a 12 Day Holiday Spirit week when we return from Thanksgiving Break. See below for more information.

December 1 - 4: students must donate 1 canned good or $1 to participate in the Spirit Day.
  • Monday: Holiday PJ's
  • Tuesday: Puffer Jacket or Plaid
  • Wednesday: Holiday Hat or Any Hat
  • Thursday: White Christmas- wear white, snowflake, or snowman attire
  • Friday: Wear your favorite Holiday attire

December 5: students must bring in 5 canned goods or $5 to leave school 30 minutes early.

All proceeds go to Operation Holiday Family.

Final Forms:
  • A reminder that students who do not have completed Final Forms (both Parent and Student) will not be permitted to attend field trips or school dances.

Student Fees: a reminder that student fees must be paid in order for students to participate in athletics and extracurriculars, this includes field trips and school dances.
